Who we are

What we collect

The information we collect

When you call, text or WhatsApp us: your phone number, your messages and any photos, your location, and details of your vehicle and tyres.
When you use the call-back form: your mobile number, where you are and when you need us.
When you use the chat on our website: the messages you send and any name or number you give.
When we do a job: the address or location of the vehicle, the registration, the tyres fitted, and payment and invoice details.
When you browse our website: if you allow it, cookies that tell us how people use the site and which adverts brought them. We also count taps on our call and WhatsApp buttons; these counts do not identify you.

Why we use it

Why we use your information

To answer your enquiry, give you a price and arrival time, and do the job. This is needed to provide the service you ask for.
To keep invoices and business records, because the law requires it.
To understand how our website and adverts perform, only if you agree to analytics and marketing cookies.
To keep our website secure and prevent misuse, which is in our legitimate interests.

We never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the business. They only use your information to provide their service to us:

Our website host, which stores the website and form messages.
GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which handles our call-back forms, website chat, customer messages and call tracking.
Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and Maps), for website measurement, advertising and the map on our contact page.
WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us on WhatsApp.
CloseBot, which helps answer website chat messages.
Trustindex, which shows our Google reviews on the website.

Some of these companies are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, your information is protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US Data Bridge.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a job: up to 24 months.
Job records and invoices: 6 years, as required for tax.
Website analytics: for the period set in Google Analytics, up to 14 months.

Analytics: Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages help people. Only with your consent.

Chat: the website chat may store a cookie so your conversation keeps working while you browse.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask us to send it to another company. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@kingoftyres.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
